Thank you for visiting the Holland Heights Church website. We are honored that you have taken the time to learn more about us. We are a Great Church with Great People on a Great Mission, serving a Great God!

If you have yet to visit any of our Worship Services or events in person, we welcome you anytime. We invite you to come and be a part of our church family so that we may get to know you better and assist you in your walk with Christ.

Here at Holland Heights, we are committed to leading individuals in a growing relationship with Christ.
Our philosophy is simple: REJOICE, STRENGTHEN, REACH.

REJOICE
We seek to rejoice and worship God with our whole life.

STRENGTHEN
We seek to both be strengthened and strengthen as we grow into fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.

REACH
We seek to reach out in the name of our Savior Jesus, sharing and serving others according to our God-given gifts and passions in our church, our community, and the world.

Take time to browse through our website and feel free to contact us. Once again, thank you for visiting our online home, and we hope to see you soon!

Who we are as a Church:

We are Holland Heights Church CRC and we have a ministry to our immediate community here at Holland Heights Church and are committed to that ministry.  We are also committed to the ministry of Holland Heights Church wherever our members live, and we see that as a ministry as well. We, as a church family, thrive on people inviting their friends and other family members to worship with us at Holland Heights Church.

But we are also something more.  Holland Heights Church sees itself as part of the church universal, the body of Christ around the world.  For us, that means we are a part of the Christian Reformed Church of North America.  We do ministry ourselves and we do ministry with others in our broader community, in our nation, and in our world.  As a part of the Christian Reformed Church, we are shaped by creeds that we hold with all Christian churches, like the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and we are distinctively shaped by creeds like the Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dort, and the Belgic Confessions.  We are also shaped by the Contemporary Testimony, which is an understanding of what it means to be a Christian in the world today. We are concerned about stewarding the trust that God has given to us in his creation, matters of justice and righteousness in our communities, as well as within ourselves.

As Holland Heights Church we are concerned with our community, but equal to that is having a concern for understanding God’s Word in context (Biblically-based). In context which was written and shared initially, and what God’s Word looks like in context here at Holland Heights Church.  To help us in that, we are a part of a denomination called the Christian Reformed Church.  That means, we don’t just see ourselves as a congregation, but we see ourselves as a part of the larger body of Christ. Our denomination is a stepping stone to our understanding of ourselves as the church universal, the body of Christ around the world.
