SUNDAYS AT HOLLAND HEIGHTS
We'd love to have you join us for a service sometime! Here's some helpful information about what you can expect to see on Sunday mornings at our church!
WELCOME KIOSK:
When you walk in our main door you will be greeted by our welcome kiosk attendant or our roving greeter. They are there to welcome you and answer any questions you have about our facilities.
COFFEE:
We've got you covered if you need a little caffeine to start your morning. Stop by the coffee kiosk before or after the service to grab a cup!
WORSHIP SERVICE:
Our worship time begins at 10 AM and includes Bible reading, singing, prayer, and a sermon from our beloved Pastor Ralph, with the goal of helping us understand God’s Word and listen for His voice in our lives. FOR THE LITTLES
NURSERY:
Have little ones? We provide a nursery for infants and toddlers with staff that have been screened through background checks.
CHILDREN’S WORSHIP:
Children 3 years through Kindergarten are welcome to participate in our Children’s Worship time during the service. *Kids sit with parents until dismissal during the first part of the service.
AFTER THE SERVICE
Many of our church family will linger after the service to enjoy catching up with each other's lives or one of the after-service groups available. Check out all the options below:
PRAYER:
There are always trained prayer servants available after our services if you'd like to connect with someone who can pray for you. Just look for them up front near the organ after the church service.
COFFEE, COOKIES, CONVERSATIONS:
Please join us after the service for coffee, cookies, and juice! Whether you stay for a minute or thirty, we'd love to meet you.
DISCUSSION GROUP - WHAT'S NEXT?:
If you prefer more organized conversations, most weeks you'll find a table in the gym where our "What's Next" discussion group discusses the morning's sermon and how they feel God stirring them to live it out in the coming week. Anyone is welcome, and you don't need to attend every week, so drop in whenever you're able.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - 1st-12th Grades:
Sunday school classes are available for the kids after morning worship services. Elementary students head downstairs to gather in the All-Purpose Room for some big-group time before splitting into their grade-level classrooms. Middle schoolers enjoy class downstairs, in the youth room, while the High School class meets in the upstairs Discipleship Center. If you're a visitor with kids in these age groups, they are always welcome to attend. Check with our attendants at the Welcome Kiosk and they'll be happy to show you to the classrooms.
