PROGRAMS FOR KIDS
We love the enthusiasm and energy of our young members at Holland Heights! We offer opportunities for them to explore God's Word and his world, alongside adult volunteers who love to share Jesus's love with kids.
We offer children's programs on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Check out more details for each age group and program below.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
Entrust your little ones, birth through age three to our caring Nursery Attendants who strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment while you enjoy our morning worship service.
If you enter the building from the large parking area (doors under the pavilion), you'll find our nursery in the main hallway, just past the restrooms, on the right.
Children’s Worship meets during the worship service. It is for children 3 years old through kindergarten. They share a time of singing and praying. They also listen to a Bible story and make a simple craft.
Children are dismissed during the service at the time we take our offering. Teachers accompany them from the sanctuary to their classroom downstairs.
Children in 1st through 5th grades meet for Sunday School after the worship service for 30 minutes. Students hear and experience Bible stories, memorize scripture, and interact with their teacher and peers as they grow together in Christ.
Children begin Sunday school together in our downstairs All-Purpose Room, immediately following the morning service. (Feel free to ask someone at our Welcome Kiosk to show you the location.)
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Wednesday nights begin with supper at 5:30 followed by classes for all ages. Here are the programs we offer for children on Wednesday nights:
All children 3 years old through kindergarten are welcome to join Young Explorers on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM until 7:30 PM. Join us for lots of singing, Theo the puppet, Bible Stories, games, and crafts. We have a great time with our friends!
Young Explorers meets in our downstairs Red Room.
Our Adventure Team is for kids in 1st and 2nd grades. They enjoy singing, games, crafts, and Bible stories on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30 PM. Come join the fun!
Adventure Team meets in our downstairs Blue Room.
All children in 3rd through 5th grades are welcome to come participate in the fun of Discovery Kids on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM until 7:30PM. We have a blast singing songs, participating in devotions, playing games, doing crafts, building rockets, serving others, making derby cars, and so much more!
